Terms and
Conditions

Last updated: March 2026. These terms and conditions govern the relationship between PARET LABS and any customer subscribing to the Relai Confiance service.

Article 1 — Purpose

These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "T&Cs") define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the online sale of subscriptions to the Relai Confiance service, accessible at carnet.relaiconfiance.fr.

Any subscription implies unconditional acceptance of these T&Cs. The customer confirms having read these terms before completing their order.

Article 3 — Service Description

Relai Confiance is a SaaS (software as a service) digital property logbook that enables owners, landlords and property managers to centralise and manage information relating to their properties.

The service offers several plans depending on user profile:

Full details of each plan's features are available on the Features and Pricing pages. PARET LABS reserves the right to modify the features included in each plan, with prior notice to affected customers.

Article 4 — Pricing

Subscription prices are expressed in euros inclusive of all taxes (VAT included). They are displayed on the Pricing page of relaiconfiance.fr at the time of subscription.

PARET LABS reserves the right to modify its pricing at any time. Any price change will be communicated to customers by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. Customers may cancel their subscription before the new pricing applies, free of charge.

The service may offer a free trial period whose conditions are specified at the time of subscription. At the end of the trial, the subscription automatically converts to the chosen paid plan unless cancelled beforehand.

Article 5 — Order and Subscription

Subscriptions are taken out online via relaiconfiance.fr or the carnet.relaiconfiance.fr application. The order process involves the following steps:

The sale is deemed concluded upon the customer's receipt of the order confirmation email.

Article 6 — Payment

Payment is made online by credit/debit card via a secure payment provider (Stripe). The customer's banking details are processed directly by Stripe and are not stored by PARET LABS.

For monthly or annual subscriptions, payment is automatically charged at each due date. In the event of a failed payment, PARET LABS reserves the right to suspend access to the service until the situation is resolved.

Article 7 — Right of Withdrawal

Under Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for services fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period and where performance began with the consumer's prior express consent.

However, if the service has not yet been used, consumer customers have 14 days from subscription to exercise their right of withdrawal by sending a request to contact@relaiconfiance.fr. If the withdrawal is valid, a refund will be issued within 14 days of the request.

Article 8 — Duration and Cancellation

Duration

Subscriptions are taken out for one month or one year depending on the customer's choice, and are automatically renewed for identical periods.

Cancellation by the Customer

The customer may cancel their subscription at any time from their account area or by contacting contact@relaiconfiance.fr. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription period. No pro-rata refund is issued for the remaining period.

Cancellation by PARET LABS

PARET LABS reserves the right to terminate a subscription in the event of a breach of these T&Cs or the legal notice, particularly in cases of fraudulent use of the service. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

Data Deletion

Upon cancellation, customer data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted. Customers may request an export of their data before deletion.

Article 10 — Service Availability

PARET LABS commits to maintaining service availability to the best of its ability. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or force majeure reasons. PARET LABS will notify customers of planned outages with reasonable notice.

In the event of a prolonged service outage (more than 72 consecutive hours, excluding force majeure), the customer may request a credit or pro-rata refund for the period of unavailability.

Article 11 — Intellectual Property

The Relai Confiance service, its interface, features, content and source code are the exclusive property of PARET LABS. Any unauthorised reproduction, representation or exploitation is prohibited.

Data entered by the customer in their logbook (property information, documents, photos, contacts) remains their exclusive property. PARET LABS acquires no rights over this data.

Article 12 — Liability

PARET LABS provides the service as is. As a software publisher, PARET LABS is bound by a best-efforts obligation, not an obligation of result.

PARET LABS shall not be liable for:

In any event, PARET LABS's liability is capped at the amounts actually paid by the customer in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Article 13 — Personal Data

The processing of personal data in connection with the service is described in the privacy policy and legal notice of Relai Confiance, which form an integral part of these T&Cs.

Article 14 — Mediation

Under Articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, consumer customers may use a consumer mediator free of charge to resolve any dispute amicably.

Before contacting a mediator, the customer must have sent a written complaint to PARET LABS at contact@relaiconfiance.fr and not received a satisfactory response within 60 days.

The European Commission also provides an online dispute resolution platform accessible at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Article 15 — Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These T&Cs are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and in the absence of an amicable resolution, French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
